Evaluation of Economic Empowerment: Catalytic Programme in India. The evaluation is a part of global evaluation of the Fund for Gender Equality (FGE) Programme of the UN Women. The project is about the economic and political empowerment of marginalised women—Dalit women to increase their access to claiming entitlements provisioned in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act which includes 100 days employment per year per rural household within 15 days of demand, unemployment allowance if employment is not given within 15 days of work demand, gender parity in wages, worksite facilities such as servicing water, healthcare, childcare, and shade. Tasks included development of context, description of programme, preparation of inception report which included details of the methodology, design of evaluation, field mission, evaluation report and assessment of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability by analysing both quantitative and qualitative data. Assessment included the capacity and governance of two implementing civil society organisations to support the project after the FGE fund is terminated. UN Women fund.
