Mid-term review of the Gender Responsive Recovery for Sustainable Peace in Kavre, Ramechhap and Sindhuli Districts of Nepal. The project supports the provisions in National Action Plan (NAP) focusing mainly on protection and prevention; and relief and recovery of NAP on UNSCRs 1325 and 1820. The project intends to benefit about 2,000 conflict-affected women and girls, including ex-combatants, through psycho-social counselling and among them 1000 beneficiaries from community based economic recovery initiatives. The project is executed by UN Women, FAO and ILO and implemented through local NGOs and government agencies. The review used multiple data collection methods (quantitative and qualitative) including document review, field visit, semi-structured interview, focus group discussion and consultation and analysed governance, process and progress and made recommendations for improvement. The deliverables included inception report, review tools, draft mid-term review report, power point presentation and final review report.
